David Paul's website

This is old news.... this has been brought up here on this site numerous times over the past several years, but of course there will people new to this board that were unaware of it.
Personally, I'd like to see us move on from the David Paul mantra. I was a regular listener of his in the early 90's when he had his WSB show and I admit I enjoyed it at the time. But it's time to move on, folks... it's been about 15 years. I'm not really sure what the big affectation is here for Paul. I have no feelings one way or another about the guy, but I suspect he'd wear thin quickly if he were back on the air again. For starters, I understand he was some obnoxious listener in Florida MANY years ago who harrassed the local talkshow host by stating he could do a better job than the host, who finally allowed Paul to come in and do his shtick. And while many people could probably pull it off and grow with it, the fact that D.P. has LONG been off the air and in other ventures like auto sales, combined with his newfound faith, I'd be surprised if he could adapt to keep a 2006 audience interested for very long.

I have two reasons to hope David Paul gets another shot on GST.

1. He was original and entertaining in the WSB days. I getting bored with political talk. I’m even turning to sports on 680…

2. WGST, which used to be one of my favorites could use a little kick in the a.
