David Pollack has left Pollack & Bell show on the Zone

Based on that july ppm post, Pollack wasn't doing much to help. 680 had a 2.2 790 a 0.8. Ouch.

Any update on replacement yet? Sounds like they knew this was coming and Bell has a new co-host lined up.

They were definitely aware of this possibility. I'd be absolutely stunned if David Archer isn't named as the new co-host, replacing Pollack He has worked with Bell quite often when Pollack was out and the two of them work well together.

Geez - Archer? He's alright...but as a Falcons fan, he was a wretched QB...why would I care what he thinks?

Hmm let's see maybe because he is the radio analyst for the Falcons broadcast and has total access to the program along with his pbp partner and fellow Zoner Wes Durham?

Archer and Bell was a long time coming. During Football season Archer usually did a couple of days a wee anyway while Pollack was in Charlotte doing his ESPNU show. I would like to hear some more Schultzie also. Perhaps he can be in the rotation as the main sub on the show but I suspect John Michaels will be in line for that.
