Dave was an engineer, one of those guys who talk about technical things that most of us don't understand but which make programming possible. For many years he was the Transmitter Supervisor of Channel 9 but he often worked on radio transmitters as well. He died suddenly on Tuesday of an apparent heart attack. While on Mt Bigelow, Dave often maintained FM translators and he did a lot of technical work for the FM station in Benson. Dave was an all around nice guy who had the highest ethical and moral standards. Most engineers in Tucson knew him.
