Davidson Media Group & WEMG

Most of the station's Davidson Media Group buys are flipped to brokered Spanish formats. It says on their website they specialize in owning stations that serve the non-English speaking communities of the US, that are operated by local businesss owners. (That means brokered). However Davidson bought Spanish/Tropical WSPR POWER 1270 in Springfield, MA last year and they left the station alone because it was already a successful Spanish station. A couple of their stations also have gospel programming, either part time or full time.

I think they only own one nearly full-time English station and that is WXCT 990 in Southington (Hartford Market), Connecticut. They recently flipped back to English Language News/Talk.

It would be nice if they flipped to Country Classics but why ask for the impossible in this metro.
