Eight Davidson Media stations in the Carolinas and two in Kansas City are sold to a group led by Nashville-based TLBC Holdings (Mahan “Mark” Janbakhsh). Price is $3.1 million, and the sellers (plural) are various subsidiaries of Davidson Media. (Mark and Davidson did business in 2012, when he bought Nashville’s WMDB/880 and WNVL/1240). The Charlotte-market stations are Spanish Christian “Radio Adoracion” WNOW Mint Hill, SC at 1030 (a 9,400-watt daytimer) and 250-watt Charlotte translator W256BP at 99.1. The North Carolina Triad stations are another Radio Adoracion, WSGH Lewisville at 1040 (9,100 watts day/182 watts nighttime), and same-format WWBG Greensboro at 1470 (10,000/5,000). Plus oldies “Music you grew up with” WTOB Winston-Salem at 1380 (5,000/2,500). Over in Raleigh-Durham, there’s Spanish contemporary “La Mega 1310” WTIK Durham (5,000/1,000) and Spanish Christian “Poder 1410” WRJD Durham (5,000/290). In Upstate South Carolina, there’s classic hits WOLI Spartanburg at 910 (3,600/890) and regional Mexican “La Nueva 103.9” WOLI-FM Easley, a Class A.
