Davin and Ana

Remember them? Former afternoons at KRQ.

They made some news in Ft. Wayne, Indiana recently by quitting on the air, with Davin in the studio and Ana on the phone (she'd actually been fired a day or two before after an apparent blow out with management).

Davin stayed in the studio for another break until he was asked to leave, on air, by management. This is old news by now. It happened about 2 weeks ago and was definitely not a stunt. Something I only recently came across though.

Lots of debate on the Indiana board. I've rarely worked with more down to earth, real people in this business as Davin and Ana, and hope they land on their feet soon, if they haven't already.

wow... for being such "down to earth folks" they sure go thru a lot of stations (and then get fired). Maybe its antics (and arrogance like this last stunt) that keep getting them fired. Neither one of them was ever good enough to act like that and keep getting jobs. I don't mean to hate, but DAMN! This business is too small to burn bridges that many times and expect to stay employed.

Here's the audio...

Holy cow, that was a train wreck. What's with those people? What a mess.

Looking at their outdated (people might think they're still in Tucson when that was two radio stations ago), they've mis-spelled Tucson Tuscon, etc.
