I see where Davy Jones will be at the Lawn at White River on the 4th of July. Any one know what station this concert is connected with? I'm assuming it's a free holiday show.
 
My wife would kill to meet Davy Jones...hopefully someone will know the story on this one.
 
97.1 has been doing a concert at White River with WISH for some years. I'll assume it is them.
 
I think that's Skyconcert on Labor Day weekend. Q95 ties in with the 4th of July fireworks, but somehow Davy Jones & Q95 don't sound like a match...
 
I wrote to Davy Jones, asking him to play at my high school dance. Since I was the president of his fan club, I assured my classmates that I could get him to be there. It looked hopeless but Davy showed up at the last minute. I even got to be his date for the night. He said I was the "grooviest girl in the whole school."

WKLU is in front of this - although they moved it from White River and are trying to secure enough sponsorship to take it to the new Hoosier Park Racing Casino in Anderson.

As people are listening to WKLU on their way to Anderson for the Davy Jones concert, they lose the station before they get to the Pendleton exit. Anderson. Great idea. The sponsors will love it, too.
 
I love Davy Jones! I have been hearing them promote this for quite some time. I know he is doing those infomercials on tv for Oldies music, but I had no idea he was still touring. Nice score WKLU!

You can pick up WKLU loud and clear on a car radio at Hoosier Park. (I was up there yesterday). By the way, no free tickets for any of you!!! ;)

Didn't realize they put family members of station employees in charge of ticket requests.

Silly rabbit, it's a free show, you can just walk right in. Hope to see you there! Here's a good idea, why don't you come sit with me, the wife and the kids and watch Davey! ;)
