DAYLONG DX SUN MAY 21

Interesting day for E-Skip here in the Hudson Valley Sunday May 21st.New FM Loggings:5:50pm KCOL - 92.5 Groves, TX. with oldies. Three songs in a row heard match those on “ten most recent songs played” list on their web site. Commercial at 5:50 gave “409” (Texas) area code phone number. 1377 miles.7:00pm WALN - 89.3 Carrollton, AL, clear ID mentioning American Family Radio. 976 miles. A few minutes earlier I had noted parallel religious programming on 89.3 and 90.3, so the 90.3 might have been AFR affiliate KYLC Lake Charles, LA, but will never know. 11:25pm KSYN - 92.5 Joplin, MO, “Kissin’” w/ country, promo for “Boom-Town Days”. 1147 miles.11:36pm KSD - 93.7 St. Louis, MO. “The Bull” w/ country. 895 miles.11:41pm KJMK - 93.9 Joplin, MO. Spot for Reddings Mill Inn. Mentions of Joplin and Webb City. 1140 miles.11;58pm KKDY - 102.5 West Plains, MO. “Hot Country KDY”. 1024 miles.Skip was in and out most of the day, with lots of TV noted (using just the FM antenna).WEDU-3 Tampa, FL first ID’d at 12:30pmKALB-5 Alexandria, LA “NBC-5” in quite well at 6:11pmKTBS-3 Shreveport, LA at 6:24pmKATC-3 Lafayette, LA at 6:39pmFOX-2 w/“24” promo then Seinfeld at 11:18pm. Maybe KTVI - St. Louis.KMOV-4 St. Louis at 11:20pmch 5 w/ Weather Plus, and then Sports Plus, likely St. Louis (KSDK) 11:22pm.Already Monday morning around 9am, I have WEDU showing up well on ch 3, and unID’s with “Regis” and “Sesame Street” fighting it out with NYC’s ET on Channel 2. Could be another good day of skip.

KSYN in Joplin is a CHR station ("Kissin' 92.5"). However, I wouldn't be surprised if the country music you heard was in the "Boomtown Days" promo.

Thanks "TheRob" for the info. I think you're right about maybe the country music I heard was in the promo. It was definitely KSYN "Kissin' 92.5" I heard.
