Daytime AM full band scan from Tampa (video)

Since I'm home today not doing much, It occurred to me that I havent yet done a full band scan video.

Since the videos are limited to one minute, I broke it down into two parts. I tuned quickly to get the whole thing on two videos.

So here's a sample of what it's like to tune across the AM band during the day here.

Part 1 530 - 1030

When you post your night scan, can you post it on more videos? For example Part 1: 530-650, 650-750, etc. That way people can ID some stations and not go quickly. Just being nice.

Good job with that list. There are actually some stations on the dial here I've never IDed though.

From all the stations I do know which is most all, your list is quite accurate with the following exceptions I'm aware of.

640 is Cuban. I can't even get a trace of WVLG here in the daytime and you'd think it would at least come in a little. The Cuban is very strong.

710 also has a Cuban in addition to WAQI.

740 is a barely audible trace of WYGM Orlando.

790 is a combination of weak stations. WLBE Leesburg. WAXY Miami, and Radio Reloj.

880 is Cuban with also a weak WZAB.

1060 is a weak WLNO New Orleans.

1080 is probably WMCU Coral Gables.

I'll break down the nighttime scan to more than just the two videos too.

If it's daytime on 1080:

If sports, likely WHOO Kissimmee
If Christian in English, likely Coral Gables (now WHIM, using other languages overnight)
If Spanish, likely Radio Cadena Habana, Cuba

cd

What I hear is Spanish and that's why I thought it was the one from Coral Gables because it's listed as 'Spanish' in the log book.

Seems like we get as many or more Cuban stations here in the day than they do up north at night.

I can ID a few more since I used to live in that area and I know what is generally receivable.
1130 was probably a faint WWBF from Bartow.
1180 is not Radio Marti. It's the Cuban jammer.
1490 is the station from Bradenton. Used to be WWPR, I don't know what the calls are now, but I know it's Spanish.

The rest seem to be correct as far as I know.
