Daytime Emmy nominees announced

Yesterday on The View, the nominees were named. The full list is at

http://www.emmys.tv/awards/daytimeawards_noms.php

No acting noms for NBC at all; most of theirs (except for Drama Series Directing) will compete in the off-air creative Daytime Emmy ceremony.

Drama Series: As the World Turns, General Hospital, Guiding Light, Young & the Restless.

Only 2 game shows for Show and Host: Jeopardy!/Alex Trebek, ...Millionaire/Meredith Vieira.

Lifetime Achievement: the muppeteer who voices Big Bird (forgot the name already)

The awards will air Friday, April 28 on ABC, and for the first time in Daytime Emmy history, the venue won't be in NYC, but at the Kodak Theater (the Academy Award venue) in Hollywood.
Edited by easttxtv on 02/10/06 08:22 AM.
