Daytime programming to be interrupted Tomorrow morning

All three broadcast networks CBS ABC and NBC will provide live coverage of the release of the Iraq Study Group report Wednesday at 11am ET/8 am PST. Brian Williams, Charles Gibson and Katie Couric will all host live coverage from Washington.

Later in the day, they'll each interview Baker and Hamilton. All the cable nets will carry the report's release, too; NBC's coverage will be simulcast on MSNBC... Credit: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/

WTVA-Tupelo, MS apparently didn't get the memo...or chose to ignore it. They're going with regular programming (Live w/ Regis and Kelly), though their LMA station, WKDH-45, is carrying the ABC coverage.

How long did this last. I tuned in at 11:30 and Bob Barker was doing his normal thing.
I guess the special report from the 3 networks was 30 minutes.

From TVNewser: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ CBS was the first broadcast network to end coverage of the report release, at 11:29am (EST), just in time for the second half of The Price Is Right. NBC wrapped up coverage at 11:32am. ABC stayed on the air a little longer, turning to Dan Harris at Camp Victory in Iraq for his analysis. (It was the only live report I saw from Iraq on the broadcast networks.) ABC returned to regular programming at 11:36am...

He's allowed to sexually harass his Beauties on the air?!? Sorry, the bad joke opportunity was there.

Daytime programming interrupted again this morning

Iraq: NBC Doesn't Carry Bush/Blair
ABC and CBS carried the Bush/Blair press conference at 11am EST today, but NBC didn't. Katie Couric anchored on CBS and Diane Sawyer anchored on ABC.

An e-mailer asks: "Where were Charlie and Brian for Bush/Blair?" (I bet they were traveling back to NY.)

Couric is the only network anchor still in DC. "She is interviewing Sandra Day O'Connor and Tony Blair for tonight's broadcast," an e-mailer notes...

> Update: 2:42pm: NBC News says its coverage was carried on MSNBC, anchored by Lester Holt with analysis from Tim Russert.
