Was trying out the new Grundig S450 in a supermarket parking lot Saturday afternoon while the gals shopped inside.
Elysburg PA the location, maybe :15 west of Knoebel's amusement park.
And from 268 miles off*, at 2:30PM, WCFR from Springfield VT was coming in.
(1480 used to be locally occupied by the now-dark WISL Shamokin).
Also got some Holiday music on 1500 at 2:45. No ID. Figures.
So bring on that Mid-Winter Anomaly. I'm zoned, hi.
Also came under suspicion ; me walking around the abandoned area of the parking lot, waving this strange device to and fro. DX is not so easily explained to people in their early 20's who are observing some goofball with a watchcap wandering around the perimeter. But everything worked out cool.
