DBO

Has anyone noticed since the flip to FM, the AM is not even showing up in the ratings?

I don't think I've ever seen an audience shift 100%, especially that quickly (or did Cox stop encoding the AM for PPM?)

If it's that dead, they should be looking for something else to do with it... or unload it.

Arbiron allows two stations that are simulcasting 100% to report the combined numbers under one call sign. The station elects which call to list in the ratings. However, Arbitron makes a notation to that effect (see the WPOZ listing) and that is missing from the WDBO listing.

Since I cant hear either station, the question is: are they simulcasting AM and FM? If so, Cox would be crazy not to encode because they can add the numbers! If not, then the question is: is the AM on the air :D

Re: WDBO-AM/FM & why no owner or format for WPOZ?

I've looked it up in Arbitrons topline ratings page and they only list WDBO-FM. I do agree with the previous post that it's most likely the combined ratings of 580 & 96.5 but for whetever reason it's not listed as WDBO-AM/FM. I find it hard to believe that everyone who listened to WDBO on 580 left it for 96.5.
In another note, I couldn't help but notice on Radio-info's ratings page for Orlando that they do not list the owner or format for WOPZ.
