DC has now leapfrogged Philly to become the 7th biggest radio market.
Impossible, Philly has the fifth largest metropolitan in the country while DC only has about 1 million. That's a complete lie.

Actually, philly's the forth largest as of 2012 when it gained some million since 2010 - 12.4% increase! I'd appreciate it If you'd fix your facts.

As I replied in the Philly board thread, the Arb. market populations are different than the MSA populations. Philly Arb. market doesn't include the counties in the Wilmington Arb. market.

DC MSA has 5.5 million not 1 million. The DC Arb. market has 4.5 mil. 12+.

Right, Philly may be bigger in MSA but it's MSA also includes nearby Vineland and Wilmington, which are their own markets.

Wilmington, yes. Vineland, no.

Vineland's MSA is Cumberland County which is in neither the Philly MSA, nor the Philly Arb. market.
