DC ratings May 2012

Why not flip 99.1 to Classic Hits Like WOGL in Phildelphia look at how well they do along with CBS-FM in nyc

do you really need all news @ 99.1 ?

They are not going too do this after only a FEW months.
 
Does anybody have any idea when CBS is going to subscribe to ratings for WNEW? I know CBS can see the ratings in the books they get for their other DC stations, but technically they cannot use WNEW's ratings to sell. Basically, I know we would all like to see those ratings for WNEW but that is not going to happen until CBS pays Arbitron for the ratings.
 
I'm pretty sure it has moved up (according to DCRTV Dave) from bottom-of-the-barrel 31st place to around 25th...which would put it around a 1.0 share (same share that WFLS-FM/WBQB/WINC-FM pull as very far away suburban signals)

So, it's improving...sorta...but it will take years (if ever) to make a threat to WTOP. I think the only thing WNEW has managed to do is make WAMU solidly #1 in the area.

Its the same in San Francisco KGO managed to make KQED No.1 in the market in the May 2012 San Francisco ratings books.
