Dead Air again on 1390 again, what a suprise!!

Well went to the car at lunch to listen to ESPN and guess what?..There was dead air on 1390. I swear does anybody pay attention to that station? Well, I am atleast glad to have XM radio, so i can listen to it there. If you want to hear ESPN in Northwest Arkansas, you need an XM Radio. Go...Go Now!!!!1

Here is what you missed. Endless Pacman Jones b.s., a segment on the hightly anticipated Rays-Sox matchup, and , hold on to your hats ladies and gents, will BYU go undefeated. Man I can't believe I missed that, damn! Really man, in the grand scheme of things, it's not that big a deal. May I suggest other things to help you become more well rounded. Lunch in the park w/o any distractions, especially this time of year with the tree colors. Or maybe lunch with a friend or loved one. Catch up on some reading. Excercise. Believe me, you could miss a day of any sportstalk, and not actually miss a thing.

you are right. XM has all the music that I want since there is not one decent radio station to listen to here to listen to. It has ESPN if I want it and i don't have to listen to bad morning shows with the exception of Mike and Mike in the Morning.

Radioaircheck, you have a lot of passion for the format and ESPN, maybe you should apply there and that position? My guess is you have have already worked there and have ill feelings, correct?

Actually it does matter, at least now we know how to take all of your posts, not as an angry listener, but as a bitter ex employee.

You sound pretty bitter and negative too bub, so I don't think you have much to say in that respect.

yeah, you do sound bitter. I just want to know why things can't be done right. With the state of radio today, I would think everyone would be on their game. "The X" sounds great with good local talent. They jsut need to fix the other 2 stations and make them top performers as well. That is all I am saying. No need to get defensive.

Ahhh another bitter ex Butler employee has entered the fray. Negative in what way? I just think radioaircheck's constant pointing out of Butlers flaws without identifying himself is weak. The bravery of being out of range huh? In fact I would gather he has not even bothered to check in with Butler to find out the problem. He just assumes it's human error. By not divulging himself he is therefore free from ridicule or scrutiny himself. Please, post your aircheck, show us your work, anything but stand in the corner with your mask on and point out the OBVIOUS. As a former Butler employee I would have thought he knew the challenges of working for a local owner who has little for Cap. Ex. and other items that are the norm at big companies.

I am not a BITTER ex Butler Employee!! Pointing out the obvious, is that the 2 AM's are step children with no direction. They could be profitable if someone took the time to do it right and sell it right, but you need good sales people. Let me point out however that KFAY AM is in the same boat. That station is treated like a step child as well, and it is owned by a big company. I am just saying there are 3 AM's in the market that are treated like step children with no promotion and no direction.

You're claling out two folks to identify themselves and post airchecks... but.. who are you to do that, hiding behind a screen name?

It's ok, he is not perfect, he can't find a way out of where he is at. He is as frustrated as the ones who have left Butler Broadcasting, because he is still there.
