Dead Air America

It always amuses me to see how so-called radio enthusiasts have no idea what Air America has been doing.

If you had done your research, you would know that Air America only produced one major show, Ron Reagan (which wasn't carried by KPNX). Since its last bankruptcy, it had been shedding radio shows and was trying to morph into some sort of internet media company.

Sorry to all you conservatives out there, but progressive talk will continue...

to have no listeners in Phoenix (source: KPHX ARB 12+ Dec 2009) And it's all Dubya's fault ;D

I tuned in to 1480 the other day, hilarious!

Its Bush's fault!!!!!

Then the guy said we have to take down the evil corporations, and then broke for commercials from those evil corporations that keep him on the air.

Please tell me that "Filantalk" (sp?) and "Heatstroke", those pillars of fine locally produced programming, won't be dropped. ;)

I tune in to KPHX for Hartmann and Randi Rhodes, despite its AWFUL signal (see previous posts). However, I see the station going down the same bankruptcy road again. Guess it's back to TV watching for a while.

Obviously what he meant was "the evil corporations are the ones who don't support my show"! ;D
