dead air, old news and other oddities

Has anyone noticed while tuning the dial in Cincy any interesting or unusual happenings? Are any stations having issues like dead air, old news broadcasts airing, over-modualtion etc etc??

Does anyone have any stories of unusual happenings like these in the recent or distant past???

I know that I am hearing programming playing on top of other programming, program feeds cutting out etc. Would like to hear what you are hearing.

The main thing that comes to mind is in the mid-'80s when records used to skip all the time on WCLU.

I also remember something from the mid-'90s. The bed music for the traffic report on Q-102 was this weird electronic "dllloollldlllddllloollldlllddllloo" music. One day, the traffic reporter just wasn't heard, but the bed music kept playing. The DJ acted like there wasn't a problem and that the traffic reporter was heard just fine. (I forget who the DJ and traffic reporter were.)
