Dead Air on 102.1 / 98.3 at 1:29a 5/12/12.

Dead Air on the LP at 102.1 / 98.3 at 1:29a 5/12/12....

Guess their winamp or SAM must of crashed....

[web stream is also silent]

I've been without much of a voice the past few days and had asked that previous episodes be rebroadcast this week. As rough as last night's hour ended up being, I'm glad it wasn't a new show of mine that was adversely affected by what I understand was some kind of Time Warner-related problem (please don't ask me to explain; I just hope everything is fixed very soon).

yea, finally went back and listened to it...song cut off abruptly, just like it was pulled, but there was no tell tell sign of any failure, also when it returned, it was a remote broadcast?? from somewhere else??...it's almost like somebody took to computer somewhere else and put it back on???

didn't sound like a typical line failure though...

Noticed 102.1 / 98.3 were doing a live local remote from a club in the Short North last Saturday night. It appeared the audio was coming from the DJ booth with IDs inserts by the computer at the station.
Some of CDs they were playing were pretty wild, to say the least. Are they listening back at the station?
Is this only live shows on the station?

I'm not certain but I think some of the Somali programming on weekends as well as "Talk of the Town" on Wednesdays is either always or sometimes live. Every Friday and Saturday night it's live local music from 10:00 on. The station's full schedule is here: http://www.wcrsfm.org/ourschedule.
I'm back home now after being knocked down by Guillain-Barre Syndrome on the evening of the 12th and spending 11 days at Riverside and 6 days at a therapy center. Hopefully I'll be able to put together the 350th episode of "Yesterday's Top Secrets" soon, but in the meantime 'CRS has been airing previous episodes of mine. It was scary -- no strength, coordination, or control of the fingers, hands, or arms, plus I couldn't walk. I figured I was going to be disabled for life.

Glad to hear you are doing better, and hope you get back to YTS soon.
