Dead Air on KFMB

Does anyone know if the monkeys from Jack FM have taken over KFMB-AM?

I have never heard so many automation errors and prolonged periods of dead air...the other night they were off for an hour and a quarter. The other night they switched in error to Phil Hendrie at 3 a.m. when "American In The Morning" was supposed to be running, etc. Then this afternoon another 20 minutes of dead air. Does Dave Sniff even care?

I will never forget when i was working on my first broadcasting degree at a community college in Portland, OR when the campus radio station had a seven-minute period of dead air and the faculty advisor (head of the broadcasting dept) had an absolute heart attack over something like that...then you have a major market radio station like KFMB-AM falling all over itself.

I have often thought what I would do if I was program director with programming to perk up the station.

5-9 a.m. Rick Roberts/KFMB Morning News (Build/cross promote with CBS8)
9-11 a.m. Bill O'Reilly Live (or Tammy Bruce)
11-12 noon Repeat last hour of previous day's Bill O'Reilly show
12 noon-1 p.m. KFMB News at Noon (Build/cross promote with CBS8)
1 p.m.-4 p.m. Sean Hannity
4 p.m.-7 p.m. KFMB AFternoon News (Build/cross promote with CBS8) (copious traffic reports)
7 p.m.-10 p.m. Michael Savage
10 p.m.-1 a.m. Phil Hendrie
1-3 a.m. Jerry Doyle or Mark Levin (both are weak shows)

I would either use the Doyle Show or Levin on the weekends as filler.

There is a lot of hot dead air from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays too.
