Dead amplifier circuit

What kind of wire are you using to go to the speakers?

I bring this up because of something that happened back in college when a BE console kept blowing speaker amp transistors. The original speaker wire was Belden 8451. We guessed the capacitance of the cable was causing problems and replaced the cable with some 18-gauge lamp cord. Problem solved.
