For quite some time yesterday, in Cleveland, 102.5 FM had a dead carrier on. By the early evening, it was off. I have 102.5 on my car presets as it was the FM translator for downtown Cleveland for WHK.
I'm listening to 102.5 FM now and they seem to be playing commercials and not simulcasting WHK/1420. Kinda strange, not sure what's going on. Yep. While driving to work, I heard nothing but commercials, but I was listening for less than 5 minutes. Two of the commercials were voiced by Charlie Kirk, whose radio talk show airs on WHK.I'm listening to 102.5 FM now and they seem to be playing commercials and not simulcasting WHK/1420. I tuned them in a couple hours ago. Audio is very quiet.102.5 FM is now simulcasting AM1420 again. I wonder why they had to stop in the first place?
Maybe someone should tip off their affiliates about this, and say, "Hey! Are you aware that you're paying HC2 for carriage on a station that has had a dead carrier for close to a year?" Or better yet, file a complaint with the FCC?Speaking of dead carriers, LPTV Channel 20 WQDI has been running a dead carrier across all of their channels or weeks.
When they say" state of the art" they're referring to art as drawn by a 3 year old on a sugar high. And if you want a good laugh, visit HC2's website and scroll down to the "our values" column at the bottom of the page. "State of the art station network?" LOL!
