The only way I can tie this into Seattle is Adam Carolla... I think his show is OK...I've given it a fair chance...but I'd just as soon listen to Stephanie Miller even though it's not a local show, it's more relevant, and funnier.

I agree. I love Stephanie. Her show is great. But hard to compare to Carolla... they are just very different shows. And I have spent some time listening to both. Have to say the Air America station has TOO MANY COMMERCIALS. Drives me crazy. I tend to tune out & over to Adam's show when Rachel Maddow's show is over. But I do come back in the afternoons for Al Franken. Adam is doing surprisingly well in my opinion.

But once R&M come back I'll be gone. :)

As will I.

After all this hubbub about David Lee Roth, I went over to his website where each day's show is archived.

If this is the "new and improved" Roth, I agree he will be gone soon. He blabs non-stop about various news articles over a continuous music bed. Some guy with a British accent chimes in infrequently.

I can't say whether this iteration of Roth is better or worse than his original schtick, but as it is right now...it is practically unlistenable to me. I sat through most of one day's 6 AM hour and part of his 7 AM hour. Roth is not funny, glib, satirical or really entertaining in any way.

No doubt CBS will have to pay out his contract, but the sooner they send Diamond Dave back to the Frontman's Old Age Home, the better.

Um...given the choice? I'd rather hear David Lee Roth. Yes, R&M are THAT bad!

Okay, thanks for your opinion. I respectively disagree. :)
