Dealing with prank callers?

You could go the honesty route and explain that the old guys friends keep calling, which explains why he's not there anymore...or if you can trick them into thinking that they're on, I've noticed that many people, including pranksters, don't like it when you verbally abuse their god, kids, or mom. I also used to put the mic right on the cue speaker and it feeds back into their ear...thats only off the air, too...
