Dean Roebuck Dies

We have lost another great...Dean Roebuck died Wednesday the 19th I believe...What a voice!!!!! Smooth..Dean was in Farmville at WGHB when I started in radio and was always nice and helpful to me...He and Sonny Fisher did some stuff in the morning together in the Summer of 83...Dean also worked alot in the glory days of Katie Country in Tarboro on 104.3...Dean was a great announcer in the Jimmy Capps vein The ladies loved that voice..Great production guy too......

That is sad to hear. I worked with Dean in the 90's at WIAM/WDRP. He was a great guy with a great voice.
 
Very sad! I never worked with Dean, but knew him as my competition when I worked at WFMA 100.7 in Rock Mount in the early to late 80's. Allen, you are so right, when you say "another great"
