Dear Dino Costa...

Just a friendly reminder that you are now broadcasting "coast-to-coast" on XM, not just locally in New York, and that the vast majority of your listeners don't care at all about Mike Francesca's feud with WFAN's Jets Beat Reporter Peter Schillens (or however you spell it).

The "feud" you're referring to was Mike Francesa arguing with Peter Schwartz over the Jets' handling of the Braylon Edwards Tue. 9/21/10 DUI arrest re: sitting him for 1 quarter instead of the whole game vs. the Dolphins in Miami on Sunday night 9/26/10.

So if Dino brought this up again recently, this is old news being rehashed, unless it was relevant to some other incident.

I think Dino's just talking about that just to get some more ink from Bob Raissman... And he's due: recently, there was a development involving Chris "Mad Dog" Russo, in that Sirius forbid him to appear on Francesa's WFAN program the day after the San Francisco Giants, Dog's favorite baseball team in the whole world, won the World Series. And usually, whenever Raissman writes a blurb about Russo, he always finds a way to work in a reference to Costa (whose show airs on Russo's "Mad Dog Radio") channel. I guarantee you'll be reading about one, if not both, of these in his column tomorrow - along with a mandatory reference to the "Valley of the Stupid", no doubt... but give him credit, he is a good sports media columnist... and doesn't have to rely on material from his readers like Mushnick often does...

Sirius did not forbid russo to go on wfan. russo thought that the first thoughts that he utters on the Giants should be for his own radio station. makes sense to me. thanks
