Hey Cheese,
Since you work at the station that Will made his wish about, you don't fully understand that said station is a shell of its former self. It's not even a good station. No one that works there understands what it takes to make said station great again, especially the guy sitting at the top.
Let’s face it, radio in general is pretty boring. So it’s not just your station Cheese.
 
I don't work for the station anymore. But I was there when Will was. And I am a bit confused why he has such hate. From what I remember he was a very drivin' person with alot of potential. I did see Ben going to him for his opinion often. And I think Ben was the one that found him the job at mediabase. I left before Will so I'm not sure if there was some kind of falling out but from what I can remember his work relationship was solid.
 
Left before me? Ooh, we get to play the guessing game! Most of the FM staff that was there when I started was still there when I left (and remain my friends to this day), so I really can't guess who you are, unless you're one of the many production directors that came through during my time, or a behind-the-scenes guy in the promotions office.

As for Mediabase, I sought employment there as early as 2001 before being hired in 2002 after I realized that the X was a dead end (yet I worked there until 2003...to this day, I'm really not sure why.) I'm not sure if Hamilton ever gave them a word on my behalf, but it wouldn't have made a difference.

I've found a lot of people share Will's opinion of Ben. I'll admit he dreams big and tells you what he wants to have happen, and in my case it didn't work like the way either of us planned, but he did teach me the skills to put together great pieces of production that has driven me through a pretty cool career so far. Ben's got his faults, but he's also left his door open for me. Anytime I've fallen - he's offered to rehire me or help me get another gig.
