DEBATES

A person like Buchanan or Lou Dobbs would be a great host of the debates.

No issues, with so many problems, the same old pablum, religion, abortion.

How about Jobs???????? How about tained foods in this country??

Lead in baby's bibs.

No substance.

The Republicans were AWFUL television last night. Did they learn nothing from Dick Checkers Nixon? and the art of the TV screen. it is the new millennium...maybe Bush has so embarrassed them they are helpless and hopeless. I shouldn't complain, actually, as the Republican Failure last night is a big win for the American people.

I didn't get to see much of it but I will watch it on the rebroadcast at some point.

One note Varulven...Dems good, Repubs bad...I only heard snippets. While I don't agree with all of their
positions I could take Romney, Guiliani, maybe McCain or Thompson...
(Hardcore conservatives feel Mitt flip flops on some issues and they aren't comfy with Rudy's views on
issues like abortion and gay rights, but would they rather nominate a weaker candidate who would lose
to Her Highness or to Barack Hussein Obama in the final?)

I am unenrolled and vote for some Republicans, some Democrats. If a Dem came along for Prez whom I'd
agree with he or she would get my vote--same for gov etc. If Kerry Healey were a Dem and Patrick
a Republican I would have voted for Healey. Don't blame me, I voted for Muffy!

rocky raccoon you have to consider how weak Giuliani looked and sounded. the whole thing was pretty sad.

Both parties do not have good candidates. I think the media is to blame, if there was a good candidate, with intelluct, say a John Kennedy, they would do everything to find some small thing to discredit the candidate. Too many special interests these days.

Not many think about the Country, but, the Party.

Remember when Reagan and Tip had beer and played cards after hours, those days are gone. The Country not the Party.

a good start would be for people like you to call up Michael Savage and Howie Carr and Jay Severin and tell them to stop calling liberals verminous.

Dare I say it? Sure. Ditto! :D

Let's see...we're in mortal combat with religious whackos who live like primitives and believe the earth is a few centuries old, and THREE Republican candidates for president doubt evolution!

Well, if these candidates advise crashing a plane into a skyscraper to kill 3,000 people so that they can
meet Jesus, let me know...it's a matter of religious EXTREMISTS...
I'm kinda like Glenn Beck: "a conservative (mostly) but not necessarily a Republican".
Vote Unenrolled in '08! :)

Howie doesn't call liberals verminous, he calls them moonbats. Savage calls 'em vermin.
I don't hate libs, just disagree with (most of) their views.
Tell the libs to stop all the "Bush is Hitler, all conservatives belong to the KKK" while you're at it...

Guiliani's stand on abortion will not help him with the hardcore Republicans. He kinda "torks" a bit fast too.
Yankee fan also :)
Golly gee, Mitt's leading the polls in N.H. Let's toast him with glasses of...milk! :)

OK...this is the factoid that will definitely derail the Giuliani (correct spelling) candidacy: he's an OPERAGOER! He has attended operas more than once of his own volition, and I wouldn't be surprised if he'd do so again.

Raccoon, I used to think that verminous was exclusive to (Savage) Weiner, but WRKO has a promo they run with Howie Carr saying "verminous liberals".

I will tell libs to stop saying Bush is Hitler and all conservatives belong to the KKK after I hear you and tony r et al personally call (Savage) Weiner, Severino, Ann Coulter, Rush, and all the others to stop with the verminous crap. If you are willing to take them on, I'll do my part. But, I don't think you and the others will - because then you become a target of some of the biggest bullies around. So, there you go. Good luck.

Just to clarify, we know that not all conservatives are KKK. But, as far as I can tell, all KKK are conservatives.
