The director of Complete Game Broadcasting has posted on facebook that Debraoh Richards who was the long time news director at Kicks has been nominated for The Life Time Achievement Award by The Georgia Radio Hall Of Fame,she is absolutely deserving.
 
She was an instructor of mine back in 2005 before Atlanta Broadcast Institute became Complete Game Broadcasting. She was known for being the toughest but most realistic teacher we had there. I learned a lot from her because she tried to prepare us for how radio and TV really was instead of just looking at the positive side. She stressed that no matter how good you were on the air, you had to know how to run a tight board, and prepare your own scripts and to never say no to anything when you first start out. You can truly ask her anything about the business and she will tell it to you straight! I am glad she is being honored.
