I think WRNO will break a 6 if there's no hurricanes this season, if you notice the only time WWL gets huge numbers is when there's a huge news story, the rest is stale. The hype at B97 has finally worn off, nothing much else to say here. WNOE has become a cookie cutter country station for Clear Channel, no more Eddie Edwards, no PD, everything is voice tracked. WTIX has so much potential its sad, Citadel needs to take 106.1 and either sell it or target it to the Northshore only, where it belongs. Magic is only up I'm guessing cause more and more people are ditching sattelite radio in their offices.
All WRNO needs to do is step up their coverage, get out on the streets, get in people's backyards, something that WWL preaches, but is nowhere to be found.
B97 has gone back to being the same old B97 it was before, they need to get out on the streets and mingle with their listeners, hasn't Entercom realized this yet?! WNOE sadly has fallen to the Clear Channel norm and sadly I don't think will ever be a real powerhouse it once was. Mikey Costello needs to wakeup and realize that he's the only real oldies station in the New Orleans area that can be picked up decently in the city and kick it up a notch.
