No surprise that WNIC dominated being the first to go with Christmas music, although WOMC wasn't far behind. Clearly, this time of year results in a bigger audience as the rest of the Top 10 didn't see much of a drop. The political primary season is helping WJR which was steady at 5.8. Despite the Pistons doing reasonably well and the build up to Bowl Game season, 105.1 saw a drop.
WNIC actually kept Christmas music on through the weekend, possibly heeding calls not to drop it at the stroke of Midnight on December 26th, but more likely because Christmas fell on a Friday and many treated the weekend as an extension of the holiday. WNIC will likely carry the next book which will be for the Holiday period as well. I'm sure this makes their year revenue wise.
