December 2021 ratings for Sacramento

How is that even possible? They've already played every song they're ever going to play a few hundred times. I once had a letter printed in a local free weekly paper when they covered KDVS's (non-commercial college station) outage for several weeks; I had said that The Eagle being off the air that long would have been a much lesser loss since there isn't going to be any new classic rock.

KSFM sure has fallen, they were #1 decades ago and now other stations are even beating them at rap. Wonder if they'll ever flip to something else? Would love for Earth Radio to come back!

Adults tend to love familiarity and aren't generally looking for anything new. KSFM is suffering due to the current weakness of the format that goes through 10 year cycles.

An Earth Radio formatted station would probably flop. They originally fell flat in 1979 after KZAP started playing a tight, well researched playlist.

Let's put that in a nice decorative eFrame and have it pop up on every post that complains about the lack of new music on stations programming for 25+ or 30+!!!!!
