Maybe a bilingual AC could be an option for Cumulus on 93.3. That might be a way for them to get some experience with Hispanic-targeted programming.


I think any young listeners interested in political talk listen to podcasts now.

KEGL needs to dump the Woody Show, get a local morning show, and go with music for the afternoon drive. It seems like every time I tune into KEGL they are talk. Ben and Skin could have their show in the evening alongside with a good amount of music. I’m not going to miss voicetracked Klinger.

My parents live in Illinois and are in the Quad Cities, IA-IL market. I can pick up I-Rock 93.5 KJOC from their house and musically, that’s what I’d like 97.1 to be here. I’d listen all the time! I was back in Illinois for the holidays and it was refreshing to hear new music from 2024!

I was also able to pick up Rock 108 KFMW from Waterloo, IA on trop. You can pick them up quite often in Illinois with their massive signal. They’re pretty good musically, as well!

Rock 108 barely gets into Iowa City/Cedar Rapids but it’s way better than KRNA

Audacy sibling KKHH 95.7 The Spot in Houston had taken a tumble the past few months after making some significant playlist changes. However after Thanksgiving the station has started sounding much more as it did a few years ago, so perhaps they realized they made a mistake. Watch for possible playlist tweaks on KSPF.

Is Ed back on the air? I thought he retired a few years ago.
I lost interest in him in the days following 9/11 when he was doing afternoon drive there.
