Decenber ratings

looks to me like Jamn 94.5 Is loosing numbers

AMP has been steadily eating away at their Cume since July. One positive is they're now very music intensive in AM after Pebbles left. It should improve their P1's but current music selection is another post for another day.

Nothing to really write home about in this ratings period except for that slow but steady erosion of Jamn's cume. The next book, Holiday 2012, should be interesting in terms of what MJX pulled.

I'm guessing JMX did quite well, it'll be interesting to see what happened with ROR - they must have taken a hit with the loss of Christmas on their airwaves.

Jamn's music selection is the worst I have ever seen from them! Ultra repetitive, extremely slow on new music and very little Hip Hop. Who is programming that station?

one thing no one has mentioned is whats going on with waaf?? even wtkk is beating them, personally i'd rather listen to whjy anyways!!

Boston radio is the crappiest I've observed since I've lived here.
5 sports stations, absolutely terrible rock stations except for The River, and ZLX which has gotten boring since the last PD left.Top 40 mainstream? there is none. Urban contemporary, bad, boring mix.
After TKK switches, no more around the clock news updates.
Who knows what half baked format they have cooked up for us on 96.9. I'd like to see the news get expanded to cover both drive times, Jim and Margery, Jim Loggotti featured as afterthoughts

I can only think up 4 sports stations: WEEI, WEEI-FM, WBZ-FM, and WUFC. Barring a switch of
1200 to Fox Sports (which I doubt but mentioned as a far-fetched poss.), who's the fifth one?
(Though maybe some of may may be near, say, the 900/1250 combo in southern NH, but in
Boston proper I only can think up 4.)

AAF must be making them a little money, or else it would have switched to something else by
now (sim. of WRKO? though by day 680 does well).
