Do we have a large Dee following here? Personally, I'd like to hear Dee back...

Even though I didn't care for them music they played on WMRQ, I liked Dee's show. It was an alternative show to listen to if I got tired of listening to one of the other morning shows. I liked him better than who did WMRQ's morning show before him and I definately liked him better than Bubba, who replaced him.

Even though I like Dee, I think I'd rather see Sebastian take over mornings at WCCC. I liked his show when he was on 93.7 The 70s Station with Nancy Barrow. If Sebastian were to do mornings on WCCC, it certainly would be yet another case of history repeating itself in Connecticut Radio.

NEW POST:

I personally am still pissed about Jake & Beth every leaving 104 .. whatever I'll get over it eventually! (It's been years, yet I'm still bitter!) I think Dee did get a big crowd in CT, some of the things he did were to vile for me and my tastes (placenta eating!) but without Howard and my indecision to decide whether or not I'll be taking the Sirius ride with him, I wouldn't mind Dee on CCC, I think he'd fit .. never listened to Sebastian, as long as it didn't turn into a 'mans sports directed show' I'd be down!

Last I heard, he was doing a show of some sorts in the Springfield, MA market (WNNZ-AM 640?). Speaking of Sebastian, I was going through an old VHS tape with stuff from 1990 and 1992 on it (dubbing to DVD). I came across a report from Jim Vicevich of WFSB-TV (channel 3) called "Good Morning Connecticut!". It was a bare bones rundown about Hartford and New Haven morning radio. Besides Sebastian (at WCCC-FM then), they showed Picozzi and The Horn (WHCN-FM 105.9), Gary Craig and John Elliott (WTIC-FM 96.5), Arnold Dean and the late Bob Steele (WTIC-AM 1080), Dale "The Voice Man" Reeves (WKCI-FM 101.3), Ron Rohmer (WELI-AM 960) and somebody from WHYN-FM 93.1 of Springfield, MA. Eye opener to say the least watching it all now!

Re: Other past morning show hosts

IIRC, WNNZ fired Sebastian. Last year he was hosting a New England Patriots talk show on WCCC.

i was never a big fan of dee myself, probably being because of his off air personality. i think i hes a jerk in real life and when i did work at 104fest and met him he was extremely rude to me and it left me a little bitter. the rest of the show was good though. i liked beth and thought nick did a good job as well as the others, but personaly think dee has the personality of a sack of frozen oranges.
