I know that Cumulus did some cutbacks in that area just last year... I have not heard that Thomas is out or anything ??? I wonder if they will put Bob and Sheri and the morning like Q98 mayby.

I noticed on another website this week that 107.5 in Wilmington applied for a
construction permit as of December 8th, no change in the tower site, but they
are planning to increase their power to 100,000 watts.

North Carolina's Coastline is a bit more "Sunny"
Raleigh-based Capitol Broadcasting recently acquired WILT (104.5) plus five other Wilmington-area stations from NextMedia for $12 million. Now it’s making its first format change, and it’s at “Rock 104.5” WILT. The station is now featuring adult contemporary music as “Sunny 104.5”, with a new morning team of Craig (Thomas) and Sheila (Brothers) beginning on February 16.

Umh, for the record, It was Rock 104.5 two formats ago. Sunny is actually replacing "Adult Hits" WILL 104.5.

Geez how much more power does Z107.5 need.. I can already get them clear as a bell on a clock radio in Myrtle Beach.. I bet with 100KW they can make it dang near to Charleston, and up to Outer banks.

107.5 from Wilmington, NC has been better to get in Myrtle Beach as 107.5 is out of Charleston. I get them clear on my car radio on some days. Best when north past Coastal Grand.
