Defunct FM station data in FCC data base

Does anyone know if there is a section of the FCC data base that is available that lists the technical information of defunct fm stations? I'm talking about stations whose data was entered in the data base and later these stations turned in their license. I notice that once the license is turned in the data is removed but I'm betting there is a way to get past data. If so how? Thanks

You might try the Wayback Machine. I haven't used it in years and some of the links didn't work but it's worth a shot.

That's good to know. Hadn't thought of the Wildcard option.

Also, use that to look for History cards, and archived information at fccinfo.com and fccdata.org. Plus in some cases, the Canadian databases have information on US stations still in the International database. Sometimes, you need to look several places to get all the information, as it is not all in one place. REC has more and more archived records. Sometimes, in the years between 1980 and 2003-2007 when the entire applications started appearing on the internet, comments have some additional information.
