Defy/True Real

True Real site says launches on 1st. On Rabbitears.infro it shows Defy replacing Grit,True Real replacing Laff KPXE so maybe KSHB is keeping them.

KPXE-TV, in Kansas City, MO is now showing placeholders for the July 1 launch of DeFy TV & True Real on Ch. 50.3 & 50.4.
Grit & Laff are, once again, only airing on KSHB-TV, Ch. 41.2 & 41.3.
KPXE-TV's lineup now looks like this:
Ch. 50.1, Ion
Ch. 50.2, Court TV
Ch. 50.3, DeFy TV
Ch. 50.4, True Real (For some reason referred to as TruReal.)
Ch. 50.5, QVC
Ch. 50.6, QVC2

Shows that KPXR 48.5 in Cedar Rapids Iowa will be airing Defy tv instead of HSN and KFPX in Newton Iowa will also air defy on 48.5.

Programming on both sound so riveting. *YAWN* Hopefully COX Cable does not add these networks.

Currently we don't get Stadium (Channel 20.4) or Twist (Channel 61.5). I wish Channel 61 would get rid of TBD (61.3). We also don't get Heroes and Icons, Start! Movies, or Decades because they carry the national feed of ME-TV rather than the local O&O WHCT-LD Channel 35.1

According to Rabbit Ears WPXX 50 in Memphis will add True Real on 50.5 and Defy on 50.6. Also WATN 24 in Memphis is getting Twist on 24.4.

Also some former Tribune stations have gotten rid of Court TV Already. Newsy still needs a home and replace either HSN or QVC channels KC area.

Shows like Pawn Stars and Ice Road Truckers you can also find on Quest. Is DeFy supposed to supplant Quest or fill in areas where Quest isn't available?
Quest is a Tegna diginet, while DeFy is Scripps, so separate programmers.

Apparently TrueReal is the rebranded launch of what was originally announced as Doozy.

Both are now on WPXA 14 (ION network) in the Atlanta/Rome market. I saw an article saying DOOZY (Scripps channel for women) would debut July 1st (today) but I'm not seeing it.

Both channels were supposed to start today, but I haven't been able to get WPXX 50 in Memphis OTA today to know if it happened.

In Cedar Rapids Iowa Ion channel 48.5 was defy while 48.6 was True real but still shows HSN programming listed but it's True Real that's on

I checked WPXX 50 in Memphis again and Court TV Mystery was dropped. Defy is on 50.4 and True Real is on 50.5. HSN was moved to 50.6. Also Twist is now on WATN 24.4.

Shows like Pawn Stars and Ice Road Truckers you can also find on Quest. Is DeFy supposed to supplant Quest or fill in areas where Quest isn't available?
Cajun Pawn Stars is what Quest airs not Pawn Stars I have watched Cajun Pawn Stars a few times when I couldn't find anything to watch if I was TEGNA I'd have just gotten Pawn Stars as that has more EP's than Cajun Pawn Stars had which only had about 52 or 53 EP's total for 2 seasons.

TrueReal is on WXMI Fox17 .4 & Defy is on WZPX .6. When Antenna TV moves to Nexstar TV stations in GR which kinda surprised that the contract hasn't run out yet since Rewind TV will be launching on Sep 1 that is when Katz Network & Nexstar ends.
