deja vu now on jamn

Just checking out jam'n 94.5 today and just heard deja vu from power 1051 in ny on there.
She sounded good definitely a step up from the previous dj. Although i don't know why a
powerhouse like jamn can't hire someone local.

Maybe because the parent company, Clear Channel, doesn't want to pay someone local when a DJ in NY can voicetrack their other stations for just one paycheck.

Yeah I know Eli. I was sort of being sarcastic. I remember hearing live and local jocks 24
hours a day. It was sort of comforting. It's just a shame that
terrestrial radio stations aren't pouncing on the one advantage they have serving OUR community.

Being from Boston, I am not a fan of this voicetracking at all. I would rather hear those interns that filled in for Ramiro yesterday then some random voicetracked jock. I think she had a break this morning that said something along the line of "if its your birthday call me lets do these birthday shoutouts boston." okay, any part time jock wouldnt even use a break for that. If CC wants to save money, they should hire within KISS or JAM'N to voicetrack those 10-2 shifts.
