Oakland-born bandleader Del Courtney, who hosted programs for many years on KSFO/560 and KPIX/5, died over the weekend in Honolulu:

He also worked in administration with the Oakland Raiders for many years, and was the team's game-day bandleader until 1978. He was also instrumental in the formation of the team's Raiderette cheerleading squad.
