Del was on WHN and WYNY as a country music personality. He was also the announcer at Shea Stadium. A few years ago he suffered a stroke. Does anyone know what became of him?

I heard from a NYC radio personality that Del is still rehabbing from the stroke that he suffered. He has not regained the vocal skills he would need to resume his career as an announcer.
