Del DeMontreaux

This may be a shot in the dark. Does anyone remember Del DeMontreaux, he was a DJ on 1050 WHN back when they were country in the 70's & 80's. For a while in the late 90's he was the P.A. Announcer for the Mets. Last I heard of him he suffered a stroke. I have never heard anything else about him. Does anyone know if he is still alive and if he is, is he working anywhere in radio? He was always one of my favorites, you could always hear the smile in his voice.

I heard that he is still recovering from the stroke. He can not speak well enough to be in radio broadcasting. His situation is similar to that of Dick Clark.
