QUESTION:

I'm wondering if there are any stations in Atlanta who AT THE LEAST plays....

Electro Hip Hop & Urban Dance hits & remixes of r&b, hip hop & urban pop)? And if not, then why not? And no, demographics cannot be used this time as an excuse to deny this type of sound. I'm also wondering if anyone would consider at least trying a mixshow segment playing urban dance or baltimore club music? I mean, it's about time that someone dared to try something different...

Well, I just discovered a whole stash of recent V103 mixes, some containing booty bass, urban club dance, and even a touch of house and Baltimore Club (Bmore) music!!

This wasn't exactly the style of Bmore I was suggesting, but it's a good start.

For those of you interested, I've also posted a few more booty bass, urban dance, and old school V103 mixes by Dj Jayrock, here:

This was posted mainly for you guys who love to record and post station uptempo/dance mixshow programming. I do not know of anyone who has posted anything V103 or even Atlanta radio related, so I thought I'd do something different and put some up and show people how it's done in the Atl. I'm not expecting any replies to this type of post - it's mainly designed for those interested in this sort of thing to listen, but you are free to reply if you wish. A copy of this will also be posted in the CHR/Rhythmic/Hip-Hop section as well.

Lastly....maybe it's about time I look into program directing because my ideas often seem to eventually work or already somewhat be in progress in the places I recommend them! Glad I'm not the only one who sees that these things could work if given a chance.

Don't forget MAJIC 107.5/97.5 plays B-More House and old ATL Bass too on weekends with DJ King Arthur and DJ Nabs.

I LOVE IT - READ V103's very own JAYCEE's BIOGRAPHY!! http://eargasms.podomatic.com/

If you're currently a radio employee in charge of any type of formatting / pd / mixshow coordinator management, read the ENTIRE THING on the right side under his pic and read it twice until it sinks in!
Talk about passion....

Great job V103 with your choice to utilize Jaycee's skills to make the radio station more interesting.

Anyway, I'll be sure to check out King Arthur and Nabs in the lab.
