She's replacing the local "Love Notes" after being replaced last year. How long does Karen Sharp's Lovesongs show on KOST have? They're going to have to make up the money they're paying Mark's new co-host somewhere.

I don't think Clear Channel would do that to LA's most listened to request and dedication show. Why would Clear Channel ruin KOST ratings for Delilah? Delilah doesn't help with ratings in LA. Remember KBIG-FM had Delilah on there stations for a while as well as the 92.7's KMLT/KELT/KLIT now KJLL/KHJL/KAJL. Delilah won't work in LA.

Man oh man, every six months someone brings up Delilah and wonders not if but when she'll replace Karen Sharp on KOST. I'll say it again. Every time Delilah went up against Ms. Sharp she got her behind kicked. The first time was back in the late 90's and she lasted a year. That was a full year of dreadful books for KBIG. They tried it again a year or so back and again Karen blasted Delilah back out of the market with Delilah lasting only months.

After screwing up so badly by firing Kim Amidon and Mike Sakellarides last year do you really think that CC is dumb enough to put Delilah on KOST? No wait, let me answer that for you. NO!!!!! Not that it's totally out of the realm of possibility because some folks never seem to learn from their mistakes, but it's doubtful that they could be that stupid again. If it ain't broke don't fix it, Delilah would ruin a brand that's taken its hits and that would be stupid with a capitol S!

By the way, with the money they saved with the departures of Amidon and Sakellarides and the grounding of Mike Nolan I think they can afford Mark's new co-host. Plus I doubt she makes the kind of money that Kim Amidon did. Give this one a rest.
