Delilah Gone from B98.5- Confirmed on B's Facebook

Apparently she is no longer on B98.5

Someone asked a question about her on Facebook and their webmaster answered that she was no longer on. Is there something going on at Premiere moving her to another station or is it just Cox ending it?

Why can Cox have on-air talent at Kiss (Charles Mitchell) and not B. They haven't had local talent in as long as I can remember.

Delilah had become unlistenable ever since they started airing her. Now, we get to hear automation which, IMO, is a hell of a lot better than her.

Thank You God! I really enjoy listening to B985, but whenever she came on, I tuned away in a heartbeat! I couldn't stand anything about her show, her music, and even how it seemed like she whispered into the microphone (pet peeve of mine is whispering, especially in a microphone... long story...)

No lost for B985, more like a gain!

I like Delilah, but her soft AC playlist--even when doctored up by a station carrying her show--is too soft for what B98.5 has become.

Carolinaradio is right. PPM has been absolutely brutal to Delilah. Even Clear Channel has been dropping her show in many of its PPM markets. She's also just lost Cleveland.

AMEN, she is obnoxious......Boohooo..

I liked Rebecca's love songs show at night. It wasn't as sappy as Delilah and was local. It's funny how B let her go for sounding too much like Delilah and they ended up putting Delilah on their air.

Delilah didn't fit the station anymore

And BTW some of the jocks really need to go also (i. e. the female ones that talk in baby-speak to try to "relax" you)

Here's a plan:
Vikki from 5-9 (just doing weather and "quickies", music focus)
Kelly (McCoy) from 9-Noon
Jordan from Noon- 3
Kelly (Stevens) and Alpha from 3-7

Put That woman who does weekends in @ overnights.

When does Delilah's multi-year contract with Premiere expire?

I know this is a bit of a tangent, but I just wanted to post that last night on B98.5 I heard "I'll Be Missing You" by Puff Daddy!!

Meanwhile, in another Top 10 market, Delilah has resurfaced on the "Fish" station in Los Angeles. Think she'll follow suit in the ATL?
