Delilah must be stopped

Granted there's a certain type of personality attracted to people like Delilah. I've never listened to her long enough to really know what she talks about, but checked out her website & she seems warm & caring enough to charge $40.00 for angel night lights or $379.99 for this mondo gift package filled with books, cds, candles, photo frames, stamps, shirts, tote bags, & 3 of the aforementioned $40.00 night lights. Personally I wouldn't date or marry any woman who would want one of these. In fact, just wanting one would be cause enough for me to cheat on her & then she'd have to write to Delilah for advice on our deteriorating relationship.

But does she have a good enough audience to keep her on Coast at night? Does she even belong on anything but a light AC station? Are there any local sponsors buying her show specifically? Both B101 & HJY have local night shows. I think a great idea (if I can presume to spend some of Coast's money) would be to go live at night with "No Rules Nights". Maybe a request hour in the middle would be good. Having the afternoon drive show extend to 8PM just to dovetail with Delilah's show is a little ridiculous anyway even if some of it can be voicetracked.

Any opinions or do I have to write to Delilah for an opinion the next time I sense a relationship going downhill?

I always thought Delilah on Coast 93.3 wasn't a great fit, and I agree with your idea of what they should do at night. The thing that sucks is that if Coast were to dump Delilah, Lite 105 would pick her up right away, leaving local Art Spencer without a job.

I'm under the impression Art has a good audience at night. If Lite wanted to go with a syndicated show they could have found something similar long ago. Anyhoo, I'm going to write to Delilah & tell her I can get plastic Virgin Mary night lights at the dollar store for a buck.

yeah, but does the clerk at the dollar store change her baby's diaper on the air for your edification??? and THAT's not worth the extra 39 bucks???

I Agree!

Delilah sucks! Even saying her name makes me sick. Not only is her show one big soap opera, but who in the local area gives a crap about someone broadcasting from Seattle? I sure as hell don't. Delilah belongs on Satellite Radio, not local radio. Why Coast 93.3 airs this pathethic show I have no idea. Coast, PLEASE DUMP DELILAH!!!!!! <P ID="signature">______________

The clerk at your average dollar store in RI nurses her baby at the checkout.
