Delilah out at WPLM?

I'm listening to WPLM as of right now, and have noticed that Delilah isn't on! I thought maybe they finally got rid of her, and was hoping. But apparently, it's just an issue with the satellite. The guy who's on right now (whom which I didn't recognize) says that he's "sitting in for Delilah." I guess I was really hoping, because they're playing some pretty good music. I just heard "Set the Night to Music," which I haven't heard on there in quite awhile. It's very much like it was when JJ Austin was there. How often does this happen?

Why would a jock say he was "sitting in for Delilah" if they had pulled the show? Maybe she just needed a night off.

Delilah is always on, as the whole show is always voicetracked.

Sounds like there was a little less saccharin-sweet, sticky syrup coating cars and streets in the South Coast area then. :D

Count your blessings. She's absolutely horrible.

I have to agree. My exgirlfriend used to have to deal with that crap show where she worked. I picked her up a few times and I had to listen to that garbage while I waited. There is no way in hell anybody actually goes through life sounding so sickenly sweet. So why do it on the radio? It's so phony that it's difficult not to throw up while tuned in. There are probably some soccer moms who eat that stuff right up. But for the most part I don't think anybody can tolerate that show for very long. It's beyond horrible.
