Delilah out at WSNE

Boy does this suck.No more Delilah.WSNE sounds like it is going to be more boring than ever.Oh yea, I work in Conneticut now and I can hear Delilah on 106.5 WBMW.
I am just kidding by the way.
She remains on WSRS 96.1 which covers a good part of R.I.If you go into South County WBMW.

John Tesh isn't on anywhere. That is why the change probably.

I have to say I'm happy about this change. I really didn't believe she belonged on WSNE. But now, the question is:

Will WWLI pick her up??

I'm also glad she's gone. She was sickenly sappy sweet. It was to the point where she just sounded totally phony. How many years did WSNE air that crap? Way to long if you ask me. I'm glad that John Tesh is in. At least the guy sounds genuine. When I lived in Hollywood I visited the set of his former talk show. Not once did he ever make me ill. However Delilah made me ill every time I listened to her. Good riddance to her. For you fans... I am sure you can still get the stream from about 100 other stations across the country. Nobody needs to go without Delilah if you love her all that much. Do any stations in Boston air her? I think 106.7 used to.

You know, for someone who's trying to pimp out their voiceover service in every post, I would think you'd be a little more diplomatic/professional in the constant bashing you do.

I don't come here to be diplomatic. This is where I come to be honest and real. Growing up I used to have a unibrow until some kid told me that I looked like an ass-ole. Guess what? He was right. I fixed that problem quick and I have had normal eyebrows ever since. I thank God for that jerk's imput. He actually helped me. Perhaps me giving an honest opinion of people will help someone in the long run too. Maybe I'm the jerk here who can help somebody realize something that will help them down the road. Who knows? My only intention is to come here and be REAL. Sorry if you have a problem with it.

Magic 106.7 never aired Delilah. They have had David-Allen Boucher and Bedtime Magic since their inception in 1981, from what I understand. However, I think WSSH used to air Delilah a long time ago in the early 90s, and then maybe WVBF did at some point. Though she can still be heard on 96.1 WSRS.

I just remember flipping the stations in the car once and I heard her voice on a couple of different frequencies. It must have been WSRS then.

Yeah, because your opinion, as a dude, is going to influence a radio station's decision to run one of the most successful, if not THE most successful, syndicated shows in the Mainstream AC format; especially when said opinion is stated on a message baord. I have run the show at stations in the past. It does gobble up ratings.

Sorry I tried to give you a little friendly advice, just like the dude who made fun of your hair issue.

BTW, what is "imput?"

As for the decision to drop Delilah, for a while, Coast could be an AC in quarter hour...a Hot AC in the next. Drop Delilah, add Tesh and Seacrest, my guess is that the station will focus more on being a Hot AC as they move forward. Just an assumption based on the desicions being made public.

Why do people always think that I actually believe I'm influencing something? I realize that I don't influence s*it by posting here. I just give my opinions like rest of you do. #2. You ask me what "IMPUT" is , but I can't help but to ask you what BAORD is.

Why do people think you think you're influencing something is because of this statement...this was you, correct?:

"Perhaps me giving an honest opinion of people will help someone in the long run too. Maybe I'm the jerk here who can help somebody realize something that will help them down the road. "

I guess I shouldn't have used the word "influence" when you used the word "help." Pardon me.

And, touché on the "baord" comment, well played.

Thank you mistermicropone :) Like I've said before... I realize this is just a dopey message board and nobody is going to change anything based on what I say. You are right. I might try to occasionally help, but the bottom line is that my influence here adds up to about .1% . I fully realize this.

yes she did WVBF back in the late 80's, she broke a contract in Seattle to come here, then got canned when she refused to read copy for a chelsea strip club.

Then she eventually ended up on WSSH 99.5 on the early evening shift, bumping Hillary Stevens to the 10 till 2 shift

She was supposed to save WSSH, even though David Allan Boucher owned and still owns nights in Boston.

I remember telling people I knew at Noble Broadcasting/WSSH they were nuts for hiring her, she had a real rep for being difficult and breaking contracts.
