Delilah returns to Sacramento

Is she the one who's show has religious overtones and is really sappy?

From what I remember, she does a chick call-in show. Chicks and metro sexual males call in making dedications/requests. Not that there's anything wrong with that. 8)

Did they carry Josh Tesh at one point? What is music format of the John Tesh show?

Looks like they moved Tesh to middays. His show has no "music format" as he provides segments that stations can schedule around their own music but he is typically heard on AC, Hot AC and Cont Christian stations. I suppose he may also offer a version that is all inclusive with music but I'm not sure if he does or not.

Ok, so I'm not crazy, that's what I remember. I worked at Y92.5 when they carried Delilah and I'm having a "devil of a time" (pun intended) understanding how that show will work on a CCM station.

Everytime I heard that name Delilah chanted so softly and delightfully while accidentally stumbling on it while scanning, I thought, "Okay, where's Samson?"

Then that'd bring to mind that line from the song "Fire" of "Romeo and Juliet, Samson and Delilah," as sung by the Pointer Sisters. (Incidentally, that tune was originally by Bruce Springsteen.)

I wonder if that song has been supplied by Delilah during a therapy-session style call, though it could be a bit self-serving.

Continuing on the KGBY nostalgia...Gina Miles had a show way before the Delilah crap. Circa '91/'92. "The heart of the night" or something sappy like that. Back in the days of LIVE talent after 7pm taking calls on air. Anyone else remember??

Totally remember.

I also remember Lisa St. Regis on K101 - "For Lovers Only", the list goes on and on.

Except now it's a "syndicated show". I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) it was a "San Francisco" love song show back when she was with K101. If not, my memory is fogging up. :)

I haven't listened to her in years. I always wondered if she actually does the show live. Or does she just record phoners, then later uplink the completed show via satellite?

It sounds fragmented, like recorded phoners, etc, etc, etc...

I know on KISS FM it was called 'Between The Sheets' on V101.1, I think, it was called 'Lights Out'

Since she now holds the midday shift at 98.1 KISS FM, I believe 'Between The Sheets' is no more.
