Delilah

I don't know, I don't think it has to do with ratings. More with the fact that Cox feels like the Delilah show mixes in well with Magic 94.9. I believe the station sounds good in every part of the day were Delilah isn't on.

With Magic in a more Hot AC direction I don't believe her show will live much longer.
 
Or the corporate laziness of having the fill in evening and overnight jock shifts. Cox VT'es their personality anyways (or goes HAL) so why not get rid of Delilah. Cox could either Voicetrack evening personality. Anythings better than Mrs. " I don't drink because its a sin". Drinking is not a problem. Excessively drinking is!
 
Did you hear the news? Delilah's show is back on the radio in Los Angeles - on the religious "Fish" station. The beginning of the end? ???
 
Cox dumped it in Atlanta and Miami. It should go to Spirit FM

It depends on what the ratings/ PPM says. I say getting rid of Delilah will help PPM. Even a mainstream/ soft AC station could find local evening talent other than Delilah. I would be glad to not hear preaching on 94.9 at night. Since Corey Dylan new works for Clear Channel I don't think she would be able to work at Cox. I mean even Voice-tracking Joel Elliot or Dick Raynes will be better. And cheaper than Delilahs show.

I know plenty of people who listen to Magic 94.9 or 98.5 KTK that change stations as soon as Delilah starts preaching. Buninesses change stations on in-store radios when Delilah comes on.

Bring back local programming on your local Adult Contemporary stations. Boycott Delilah by turning your radios off or changing stations when her show is on. I'm serious, You could also boycott Mr. Know- it- all John Tesh while your at it. Or Ryan Seacrest on your Hot AC/ CHR stations.
 
Non related but its a shame other than CBS the only radio station with personality in Tampa is out of Lakeland. 97.5 WPCV actually has a van go around Polk County to do live programming and interact with people living in Polk County. 97.5 is broadcasting at live events.

I hear a time-check and a weather update at 12:23 in the AM. Now that is awesome.
 
She has made it to the big leagues and is probably less expensive than a live jock. Frankly, I am waiting for some of the male jocks to start putting to music and commercials and commentary that they are having hot torrid affairs with her, not unlike some female cornfield types on the air who claim to be a having hot, torrid affair with syndicated men, who make regular visits to their boudoir.
